problem with the crankshaft, or maybe not

Hello everyone

Both motors are stopped long ago, one of them will be restored.

Not yet took the engine of my 1300 Alfa GTJ  to my mechanic,
but it seems to me that I have a problem with the crankshaft.

Well, it seems to me that is broken, or not  ?

Below, the photo has the crankshaft.

I have another engine, but it is an engine GT 1600.

A colleague of our forum got me the manual in 1300 GTJ,  and ...
the information of mechanic of the Owners manual 1300 GTJ, gives to the 1600 ?

If not.

I would appreciate, if possible, someone get me a Owners manual  "Use and Manutenzione"  of a 1600 of 1967, the documentation in PDF.

Thanks to all

Do you have a boat? That crank looks to be a good start to making a boat anchor.

you might be lucky with the crank Paulo,  but it looks like you're up for a replacement rod, piston and maybe a liner ?  The piston may have damaged the head,  and probably bent a valve up there too...     If you could find a spare 1300 crankshaft - might be worth doing anyway as it will have had a good knock around in there...

The main bearings on either side of that rod might have pulled the cap studs in the block a little too.

At least the rod didn't take the shortcut out the side of the block I guess.

Has your mechanic had a look yet ?

Cheers,

Scott.
