Hi All,

Thought I would give you a quick review of Mauceri Motors in Clayton.

Firstly, I am not associated with them in any way, shape or form.  This is simply a review of my experiences.

I recently had a 100k service and timing belt replacement booked in with them.  To cut a long story short - they were absolutely fantastic.  Easily the best Alfa mechanic I have been too (I've mostly stuck to the dealers in the past).  I had a few other things replaced at the same time (alternator belt, water pump, headlight globe and a few other bits n' pieces).  All up, it cost me $1,500 and the car has never felt better.

I had been quoted by one of the dealers $4,000 for the same amount of work.  No wonder I left with a smile on my face! ;D ;D

To quote Seb & Liana - mechanics who work at the dealers do a job.  Mechanics at the smaller specialists, are usually enthusiasts with a passion for the brand.  This was clearly obvious to me.

The whole team were really generous with their time and explanations.  This is really important to me.  In contrast, the dealers have been essentially 'get em' in; get em' out' for me in the past.

Highly recommend their services - I'll be going back to them from now on.   ;)

Cheers.

I had a similar experience when the wife and I went to Phillip Island. After driving it down from Brisbane, the water pump developed a problem on the 75 V6. Fortunately, we could stay a while with friends until I could get into the que but they did a great job for a fair price. Can't ask for more than that.

A traditional family small business with the old fashion personal service too. From talking to both father and son, they seem to know their shit too..and then some. It's my pleasure to provide this unsolicited plug.

Absolutely agree with you.. Sebastian is one very friendly guy who knows what he's doing! The prices are also very reasonable.
