Hello all,

My name is Joel and this is my 105 recently bought from Adam on here.
I have had her for a few weeks but have now managed to find time to clean and take pics of her, so this is my introduction.

Been wanting a 105 for some years since I test drove one for sale in VIC about 5 years ago. The 2000 in this is a lot of fun.

Chassis number AR 2206615
Alfa Romeo GT 1600 Junior RHD (115.05)
Manufactured on the 28th September 1973 and sold on the 9th October 1973 to Alfa Romeo  Australia .
Hawthorn white (Bianco Spino), with black tex interiors.

Looking for some Minilite/superlites as an option while I get these wheels back to their original colour. They are a strange gold/off white at the moment.
If anyone is selling some please let me know.

Thanks and I will be joining the club soon.

Joel

Hey Joel, careful with that car mate. Never park it at the Gold Coast. You'll cause a Meter Maid riot to see who's gonna feed the meter for ya first.  ;D

Nice one son.

Argh!

My GTJ got the full force of a Kia Grand Carnival towbar while parked today. It took out the passenger side grille and has quite badly dented what looks to be pretty structural steel next to the light by the radiator. Anyone know any quality body places in Melbourne? Got Rankins recommend by Maranello. Fingers crossed tomorrow.

Welcome to the Club Ursus, however condolences on the recent mishap :-\..............bloody tow bars!
I hope this hasn't taken the shine off the ownership (no pun intended) and you can get this little beauty back on the road looking better than ever very soon!

You will have no problems and no worries with Rankins, highly recommended, all my cars are done by Paul, along with other members.

Stop by Monza Motors too for a chat with Hugh, 4 Malvern St, same road as Rankins, you will see it, it has all the Alfa's at the front.

Thanks for the replies.
I'll update once I know the extent of the damage.

Quite unfortunate, hopefully easily fixable.
I've been checking these guys out for wheels (http://www.18racing.com/wheels.html), still gotta save for them though!
You'd be after the RB series wheels.
they are much better prices than some wheels in aus, not sure on shipping rates.

Went to see Paul today and he thinks it'll be a few grand at least but fixable. The GTJ grille seems pretty hard to find but went to see Hugh after and he had a set so all good!

Those wheels don't look bad!?! What I hate is the Performance version here with the huge round plate in the middle. However A 105 at Hugh's has a lovely set of Alfaholics GTA rims so now I have those on the brain. Dammit!

Hey Joel,

Heart skipped when I saw your ill-fortune.  The guys as usual have recommended the very best care to get the car back on the road.

I priced some GTA rep wheels direct from Alfaholics in 2007, from memory it was the postage that killed it.  I believe Stuckey Tyres had a dew available for sale though- they are on Sydney Road in Brunswick near Maranello.
