Hi - new to this forum, but I'm based here in Melbourne, so it's the most appropriate place to ask...

I'm just wondering where people are getting parts for their Alfas? I've recently bought a GTV Twin Spark (Phase 2), and have had a fair few problems getting parts. In particular, I need the following:

Electric aerial. This is a bizzare item in the world of Alfa. I've been to the spares shop out at Thomastown, to be presented with 2 used models (at $200 mind you) only to later realize that both don't fit my car. The stalk is either too long or too short. God knows why this series of car came with so many different size aerials, but I'm assuming one was for a Spider, and one was for a 156. If anybody knows where to buy a GTV phase 2 aerial please let me know.

- RH door mirror - Mine's broken

- A front bumper, or section of it. Mine has a 1 foot long gap in the base of it, probably from the previous owner's lack of care on speedhumps.

I've tried Thomastown, Euro Car Parts, and Monza Motors in Bayswater... please let me know of other good spares places.

Thanks in advance,
G

Hi if its mechanical parts there is also the option of buying overseas via the net places like this;
http://www.ebspares.co.uk/

Just be sure to state what you want as he supplies Alfa original or aftermarket version (can be made by same supplier as OEM to Alfa but branded with their aftermarket logo or could be another aftermarket copy). Just so you are sure you know what you are getting, don't just rely on the photo. His pricing is quite good compared to local despite freight.

Also there are these guys in NSW;

And of course there is fleebay specific for Alfa;

Good luck

Obviously you have tries Monza Motors and Milano Spares.

How about a call to The Italian Job in Clayton who have plenty of current model Alfas.

Also have alook at a previous thread re: aerial as a good outcome was achieved.

Turin Imports in Adelaide. Outstandingly fast delivery. That or Monza Motors.

Montreal & 2600 bits I get overseas, but there's no need for the modern cars.
