If you open the drivers door there is a lever just under the door stricker on the B pillar.

If the springs are gone the damn thing wont rise when you pull the lever, but if you are 5'11" you can just reach the boot lid with one hand while pulling on the lever with the other, you look pretty silly doing it....but it is possible!!

sorry mate don't know what B piller is?

Open the passenger door, then look on the vertical pillar behind where the door closes. There's a chrome lever recessed into the pillar.

hi

So it's not on drivers side but passangers door, when you open it on that wall where the door closes has to be?

I can vouch for the 5'11" needed to open the boot when pulling on the lever on the passenger side door opening!     I guess the spring in my boot locking mechanism is weak or broken.

This is such a simple question and answer.

To the best of my knowledge all 105 coupes have a chrome level located on the LHS of the car, and yes located on the b piller,  approximately 1/2 way up from the cill.  If you open the passengers side door, its on the inside face of the LHS rear guard, just below the door catch.  This section of the car is referred to as the B piller since the front piller (windscreen piller) is the A piller and the rear window piller is the c piller.

If it is not there then there is something awefully wrong with the car.  It should make absolutely no difference between RHD and LHD cars.  Dave

So terryimports01 capisce! have you found the boot release on the passenger side? I'm lucky mine works and thats good because apparently at 5'9 &3/4", the contortion thing wouldn't work.

But guys don't any of you have someone who can help you with the boot or are you guys lucky bastards who have the garage/shed which is secret mens business only?
