Who would you trust in the Brisbane/Ipswich area to repaint a 164? 

Body is dead straight but has fading on roof and bonnet, and a few different shades of red all over.  Boot and rear guards have been sprayed recently to a good standard but probably needs re-doing for a consistent colour match

The gunmetal lower sections are fine so I'd be looking at a decent 'closed door' respray of the red only.

Hi Barry,

Cloth is great except for split stitching over the top of the back seat.  Drivers seat is remarkable for 263,000kms.  Armrest and doors look good. 

Headliner is pristine.

Plastics are a mixed bag     Padded dash is great with some warpage but no cracks.  However the hard plastic between dashtop and windshield is gone, and the plastic underneath quite distorted.  I can only think that the dash was badly sun damaged and (partially) replaced.

The instrument cluster has a tentative connection to the dash itself........

Speedo inop.  Tacho seems to work.   Other gauges move but I don't trust them.

No sticky trim so the soft-touch coatings must have been cleaned off at some point in the past.
