Can people share their pros/cons of having their 1.4 MA Giulietta remapped to Stage 1 please?

Economically pointless, sell it and buy a QV

Thanks Craig for your opinion. Unfortunately can't afford a QV.

I'm considering a "remap" of sorts for the 1.4 MA in the Abarth Spider.  What's not to like about a claimed 30 HP increase!!!
I personally would first try fitting a high flow (say 200cpsi) cat together with bigger bore exhaust - if they are available for a 1.4MA equipped Giulietta.  This alone may provide 3kW and would compliment a Stage 1 tune.
Also a good move to ensure the intercooler is spotless!!

A QV can be had from $9K (car sales)

I'd suggest the $ difference between your car and a QV will be less than a remap, hiflowcat, brake/exhaust /suspension upgrade..

What is spec/Km is your car?

Mine is a 2015 Distinctive model and I bought it because it had only done 10000km as it was garaged for 2 years and it came from a deceased estate. The QV I looked had heaps of miles on the clock which scared me and I could never see one for $9K as you suggested. The car is practically brand new.
