Hi all, long time Alfa lover, now first time Alfa owner!! I had a dream of owning an Alfetta GTV, just like my late father owned and had a chance at buying a 74 105 GT Junior 1600 but being financially out of reach that dream ended. Ever since the 156 was released I loved the pretty and very unique style. After watching the 156 market for some time, a mate sent me a link on Facebook market place. The car looked great in the pics, but that can lead to disappointment, so I headed to the inspection with very low expectations. What I found was a pleasant surprise. So I introduce my entry to Alfa obsession, a 2001 156 Monza twin spark manual (in Alfa roso of course) with tan momo interior. It will keep my mk1 Mazda MX5 company.
I've been a car tragic all my life and draw cars for a hobby.
Looking forward to a meet up at some stage, though being from South Gippsland l don't know how that'll happen. Cheers. JP.

Welcome JP!!

I spent a few years in Sale down your neck of the woods during which time I owned a blue 105 Giulia sedan and a white 164.

It would be great if you could post a photo of your new steed for all to admire  :)

Nice 156, and that's one helluva man-cave. I have to make do with a man-space-on-the-driveway.  ;D

Welcome aboard JP.

The 156 is clearly your first Alfa JP - no oil stains on that pristine floor!

And can't have had anything British either.

Hi everyone and thanks for the kind welcomes. For some reason I'm not getting any notifications. I'm still getting my head around the Web page and how it works. I  tried looking for a reply tab so I can reply to you all individually but could only find one at the bottom of the page. I did make it to the Kilcunda pub run thanks, had a great time. Am hoping to get to Sandown this weekend. The shed floor is epoxy so oil wipes up nice and easy!! Cheers guys.
