Odd throttle behaviour
« on: November 23, 2021, 02:19:10 PM »
Afternoon all,

The following is occurring intermittently when cold with my 2.2 JTS selespeed.
When easing off on the throttle, the throttle sometimes behaves as if I've snapped it closed when in fact I'm only easing off it.
No codes or anything. Only happens when it's cold. (very cold where I live).
Any pointers appreciated.

Throttle calibration? my 156 has a throttle reset calibration, you disconnect the battery for an hour turn the key to the MAR position for 90 seconds then start the car and run for 15 minutes without touching the throttle. Maybe the 159 owners will assist you with there knowledge.

Thank you Sportiva. I'll hook up the laptop and check out the throttle calibration procedure. My 156 JTS suffers from a surging type behaviour under hard acceleration so I'll apply your 156 throttle reset to it.
