Hi Guys, had a crack at fixing up the trim on the centre console on my road car, total cost of fix up
$20 vinyl
$8 contact adhesive
$10 varnish
Pretty happy with the results, the vinyl stretched around the shape remarkable easily, got my mum to whip out the sewing machine for the gear shifter boot.  Was initially just going to cover the rear parcel shelf but thought I would give the console a go, pretty glad I did!

Great looking job Colin, how did you shape the little tray section without wrinkles or a cut seam line showing.

Is you secret the beer that accompanies the job?    And what is that little board with writing in it say?

Thanks Tim, yea I was worried about the tray section but the vinyl is surprisingly stretchy and it actually wasn't  that hard to get it to fit, also the timber panel helps to hold it into position, also the beer helps.

Haha that board was given to me by a mate from the race team we were on, it's the "I didn't know it would do that trophy"  it has a very expensive, and destroyed, coil on plug bolted to it.  At 3:30 in the morning we where trying to get an engine started and I left the ignition on for so long that I melted all 4 of the coil packs, expensive exercise!!

Colin.

I like your drinking logic - beer to quench the thirst and coke zero to re-hydrate.
But we need to talk about your taste in beer!!!!

We'll talk at PI.

Cheers Simon
