procida blue

Hi,

I'm having my car resprayed (it's actually a '66 Beetle) & looking for help with paint matching.

The car was originally sprayed after restoration with a really nice 72 Alfa colour called Procida Blue (AR-353), but the sides of the body were done in another colour, a slightly greyish off-white. I believe it's an Alfa colour too, but have had no luck finding the paint code.

So, my question for you Alfa owners is - do you know if Alfas circa 1972 were ever sprayed in a procida blue / white scheme? And would you have any idea what the code is for the white paint?

Many thanks in advance!  :)

Hi Don't know if this will help but this was posted on another question about paint.

Hey, thanks for that, Tony  :)

This has been a lot harder to research than I thought...(I am now my own #1 Google result!)

Interestingly, the list you linked to had AR353 as a later model green metallic paint.

I've definitely got AR353 Procida Blue marked on a tin of excess paint, and here's a different link that shows it in the 1972 colour schemes:

maybe they recycled the colour codes? *shrugs*

If you want them i have some Alfa colour charts for 1750 GTV from 68 and 69. That might help maybe.
