I'll be there but with Renault mates. I'll wear an Alfa cap though. Can't wait to see Ricciardello car too

Find link on this weekends event schedule. The Alfetta GTV driven by Riccairdello in the sports sedan and the Alfas in TCR races should be a great spectacle.

I was watching final round of TCR at Sandown earlier today, with one of the Alfa drivers (Cox) putting in a ripping effort to overtake three cars on the last couple of laps to move into 5th with a couple of corners to go, and he just disappeared. The coverage switched to the cars crossing the line before briefly flashing a shot of the Alfa in the wall and the driver kicking the ground in disgust.

But they didn't show exactly what happened - anyone have any idea? Interested to know if the bloke in the Civic he passed last might have shoved him out of the way?

Colin Edwards

Cox's car came back to the pits on a flat bed.  Punctured RHR tyre.
Quick car/s and mostly fantastic driving - just not a lot of luck!
He now holds the TCR lap record at Sandown!!!

Cheers Colin, I missed most of the post race chat. Was terrific watching the Alfa take the Golf and then the Civic heading into the last lap.
