Hello All ... The old and original Britax seatbelts in my 1973 2000 have finally given up the ghost (rusty springs in the clasp - yes rust will get every 105 in the end).

What are the onions that have saved us previously? Can you get new springs, or do we have to go more modern?

Your wisdom is experienced?

Mark,
Can't say I've ever heard of the springs being sold.

As they are a safety item I would just go for a new set.

I have to do the same later this year, not sure what to get myself.

Cheers.
Speed costs money - how fast do you want to go?

I would go 3 point belts and feel more secure.  Just sayin.
