Hey Alfisti,

Currently have 16inch 156 Teledial wheels on my GTV6, does anyone know if the 916 GTV V6 calipers will fit in the 16inch wheels or will I need 17 inch wheels?

Thanks, Stefan.

I believe the V6 came with 17inch, twin spark cane with 16inch as standard, however I could be wrong?

Had a quick look on car sales for the wheel specs for a V6 GTV. It seems as though the V6 model did come with 16' wheels as standard.

So yes the wheels will clear the calipers.

Just had a quick look myself after delving into a magic tool called Google and you are right!
Very good news!
Means I can keep the 16inch, getting some Potenza RE003 tyres for them this weekend😆

Thanks heaps Andrew!

I think you might find the 16 inch wheels on the GTVv6 have 6.5 inch wide rims not 6 inch to clear the front brakes.

No worries,

Aren't they all 6.5 inch wide? I haven't come across teledial wheels that are 6 inch wide.

Wheels on the 916 gtv is a mess and there is no guaranty that brembo brakes will be cleared without trying. Yes I have a 916 v6 and my fair share of trial and error to replace the 16 " original buckled tear drop wheels. She now lives on 17'" GT wheels with 5 mm spacers to clear the front brakes. 16 inch teledial are probably from a 156 and will not clear these brakes.

I think I was wrong in my last post. The 16 inch wheels on the GTVv6 had 7 inch rims not 6.5 inch.

I sold mine some years ago but I remember it was difficult to get the right wheel when I buckled one.
