The Alfa Romeo heritage "rinascimento" (renaissance) continues in each and every new model...the first "rinascimento" being 1915.

The passion can blur the line, some call it the red mist...well in Italians it can come to the surface, so can't say what was the reason for the rear bumper action by the german audi.

But in this clip, final event, race 2 of 2 for the title, (race 1 Larini in the Alfa wins Nanni and Ludwink DNF) it is Alessandro Nannini in 1994, that Klaus Ludwink won the title thanks to Roland Asch (team mate at Merc) who puts Nannini out. So following the rules of racing "no contact except we're german" five laps from the end Asch turns Nannini, gets out and shows Asch the direction to....

Now that isn't going to wash with a passionate Italian and Alfa Romeo driver...Alessandro pits and returns to pay back the scumbag Asch that assisted Ludwig to win the title in 1994. Larini in the other Alfa comes third...and that move on Nannini prevented a back to back victory by Alfa after Larinis 1993 victory.

Don't mess with an Italian...and he wasn't even Sicilian! But he was an Alfa Romeo driver...passion for winning always.

And today, well July 2016 the Alfa 155 Ti V6 still competes and here is one warming up;

Enjoy :8 8:

Nannini at Singen is utterly painful to watch... :P  Crap circuit too, like it's mimicking the truncated Avus.
