So with Targa tas approaching fast the 2 alfa's are getting a bit of a tune up.  Just changing those standard consumable items like, clutches, pressure plates, head gaskets brake pads and extractors!
I had made a brand new set of extractors before the last targa, but unfortunately they got destroyed in the crash.  The set I used for High country were an old set I had repaired after they had cracked.  Although they survived High country well I didn't want to risk it in Tassie so set to work on building a new set (or 3)
The design I have requires some nonstandard bend angles therefore all the bends are custom made, so it makes sense to make a few at a time.
Once all Welded up I take them to a heat treatment facility in clayton and get them properly stress relived.  As many of you are aware Alfa manifolds are known for cracking and judging from my dad's set that has gone through the same process it seems to really increase their life
Anyway I've got my set in the car now, I still have my old set as a spare so I've got a couple to sell (PM me if interested) some of the features
-   Machined flanges to give proper exit geometry
-   Tig Welded
-   3 stage diameter increase in the primaries
-   Fabricated (not pressed) collectors
-   Equal length primaries and secondaries
-   Professionally Stress relived
-   Painted with VHT Exhaust enamel

Don't think so, the alfetta extractors I've seen are much different, maybe due to the steering rack location?
