Did all suds come with a rod from rear suspension (panhard rod i think) that adjusted rear brake bias? Mine is a series 3 ti and i though it had been removed but am now starting to suspect maybe that was how it originally came?
There is a hydraulic body for brake lines there but it seems to not have any connection for the missing rod but rather a very original looking cap. Haynes manual has a pic of the missing rod setup but doesnt mention a change for late models.
Thanks
Mark

My series 3 TI is the same. It has a valve gadget but no rod.

No series 3 Suds came with a brake load bias valve, i was told this by an Alfa Romeo expert about 30 years ago when i was in their workshop.
But this didn't stop me from putting one in out of a earlier model as part of the hydraulic handbrake that went in to replace the non functioning mechanical handbrake.
I am pretty sure that a 33 has a brake bias valve, would need to look to confirm 100%.
Maybe Alfa Romeo hadn't paid the bills for the bias valves and so left them out till they checked down the back of the couch for some loose change, Colin.

I thought only the TiQV came with a hydraulic brake valve as has different springs to an S3 Sud (so all other Suds were mechanical)?? The TiQV brake valve is damn near impossible to find so I fitted an adjustable bias valve many years ago.
