Interior Light restoration

Hi all, anyone had success in restoring (re chroming) the grab handle interior light fittings?

Searching the net found http://www.chrometech.com.au/index.php/die-cast/.
They seem to have a process for re-chroming die cast fittings......anyone used these guys?

I could not resist removing the handle - has anyone had success in refitting the spring under tension and in the right place?

Hi You can get all the flakey chrome off and polish the metal to as good a shine carefully with a buff   john
