The Club will be holding a display at one of Melbourne's most significant landmarks on the Australia Day weekend. This is a part of the regular Fed Square Car Club Showcase which is a free monthly motor show in the heart of Melbourne.

The event is proving most popular with car clubs as car aficionados transform the Flinders Street frontage of Federation Square into the most glamorous car park in town. Classic cars one month, vintage the next and modern sports cars another.  It's been a great success and the club did participate in this event about 8 years ago.

Considering that the date of our Fed Square Alfa Romeo Showcase falls on the Australian Day long weekend with the Australian Tennis Open underway, we are anticipating high crowd traffic on the day. It will be a great PR exposure for the club, opening our club culture to a greater public, plus also providing the potential for new members to join the club on the day, as well as club merchandise available to sell.

We've been told that we should have space to display 30 Alfa Romeos, and considering the wide demographic of the human traffic anticapated on the day, we would like to have selection of vehicles on display that appropriately represents Alfa Romeo's history from vintage all the way to current models. So we're asking that members that are interested and available to share their pride and joy with a great and diverse Melbourne audience, could you please RSVP sooner than later as this will help greatly with the planning and car display layout.

More details of entry, set up and exit times to come soon.

RSVP: Wednesday 21st January at the latest for display (unless filled up, then you will be kept in mind for back up display if anyone is not able to make it).  Please provide name, club member number, vehicle model and contact details.

The event is open to the general public, but bookings are essential if you're wanting to display your vehicle – contact:
