My 33 is on the road at last and my first chance to see what it is all about. Whoa! A free spinning motor that runs up to 5000rpm in a flash. Question is what  is an acceptable redline limit when I have on track days as planned? What fuel type is recommended for daily? Guess for track work 98RON is the go but is switching to lower Ron for daily ok?

I think that the standard rotor button cuts out at about 5,800 RPM, some a bit more and some a bit less, sometimes you may want a few more revs, so you don't have to change gears before braking, so use a higher rev rotor button, other wise for a 1,700 you don't really need to rev it past that, it all depends on when the power drops off, you may wish to come along in a few months to the Bennica Dyno Day at Bennica Motors in Surrey Hills, and see how your 33 performs, Colin.
