What was the standard wheel size the gt came with and were you able to option up in size?

Yeah, it depends on 2.0JTS vs 3.2 V6, and year model.

Early V6s came with 17x7.5" wheels +35mm offset, 225/45R17 tyres. This changed to the classical 18" multispokes that most people prefer; offset is either +35 or +32mm, can't remember this moment; tyres 225/40R18. The 100th Anniversary model has 5-split-spoke (10 spoke) 18" wheels.

The JTS has wheels 1" smaller than the V6. You could presumably option the V6 wheels in this situation, but the V6 cars didn't have an option for larger at the time.

All V6 wheels - like the GTA - have adequate clearance for the front Brembo brake calipers.

I was actually wondering if 116 GT or one of these "modern" ones..... :)

Yeah, I figured that. Given the OP has posted in the 'current model' Alfa subforum, I'd presume it was a modern version. :)
