Title: New member, new owner
Post by: Whippet on March 05, 2012, 09:48:51 PM
Hi all,

Just purchased a great Brera (at last) with low K's and in excellent shape. Look forward to meeting other members. Probably a little difficult in Townsville. Any other members from the 'Ville?

Welcome. Nice car. Which engine/gearbox combo did you get?

Welcome mate, car looks great

I'm also from Tardsville  :D I'll keep an eye out,
If you see a black 75 cruising around with green P plates (hopefully on the road by next month), give us a wave ;)

Cheers, Mic

Hi,

Got a 2.2 Selespeed. Takes some getting used to but if I wanted a sportscar
I would have looked elsewhere.

Welcome to the Forum Whippet, DEVO fan are we?, i would invite you to the Current model Workshop night at ZAGAMES in West Melbourne, Victoria, except its a little too far, keep us posted with all your Alfa things, have a problem, post it here, as there is a lot of knowledge out there, [except me], Colin.

Never seen that colour on a brera. Can you tell me what colour it is? How do you find the 2.2jts motor? I'm looking to change my 156 selespeed in the future and thinking of getting a 2.2jts Brera. Any thoughts would be helpful.

That is a beauty...

Is the Selespeed still working ? :)

(said mainly out of jealousy!)

From what I have learnt, ensure that the car is serviced by an Alfa Specialist with the alfa examiner. The selespeed can be reset as required and you get the factory updates as well.
