well, looks good but for 10 grand i could make mine even better and their are are few irregularities with it like, it has an anologue dash cluster in 86 they were all digital, why is their no pic of engine bay and the biggest thing that make me think its a scam is $1000 deposit within 24hrs then they will allready take it to your freight company and then you have to wire transfer the rest. so my guess is a scam

There is a picture of the engine bay and it shows the rare twin plenum chamber fuel injection manifold that were only used on the 2 litre 6's.

just made the call,
this one seems desireable, as since posting yesterday has had 24 calls and is a rare manual version, had to upset him and say they are all manuals (dont think any autos made oz maybe 1) very firm on $750 tho, bad thing is i never pay more than $500 for one

No, that's not quite right.  Only the 2.5 ever got the digital dash, this is a 2.0.  And the analogue dash was introduced on the 2.5 in 1986 with the other upgrades for the Super, of which this is one.

Very nice 90, $10k is a little steep though I would have thought.  Maybe half that would be fair.

I think the 2.0 V6 also had variable valve timing, I'd love to have a look at one.

That $750 one in Ringwood looks very tidy, I reckon it would be a good buy.  If it was a Super (and if I hadn't bought a Giulietta last month) it would already have my name on it.

Yeah, excellent shitbox contender.  Since it's the same colour as my track 90 (which has 5 different shades of grey, out-of-whack front-end panels thanks to a car-armco incident, and now has cracks developing in the engine bay) I thought about getting it and transferring over all the good bits.  But then realised how much effort that would be......

Yeah, that's right Sheldon.  Only the top of the range GCL models had the digital dash in Europe; all 90's sold in Australia until the Super were GCL's hence all Australian 90's up to the Super's had it.

The injection is the CEM system; used only on 2.0 90's and Alfa 6's I think.   Not sure about the variable valve timing though.  I have the complete engine manual at home that covers these and the 4-cylinder 90's and will take a look over the weekend.
