Title: 3.0 75 ignition rotors - did I buy the wrong version?
Post by: shiny_car on October 04, 2011, 08:04:43 PM
Hey guys

I bought a replacement ignition rotor for my 3.0 75 from the US. I pulled my distributor cap off and discovered the car has a different version:

The original is on the left, and new one on the right.

So, do Australian-spec cars have a different rotor? Or is the new one just a (totally) different design that will work?

:)

I've received info to confirm the new one is just fine, and what I should have had all along. Whereas the one currently fitted, is from a 2.5.

Thank you to my informant - you know who you are.  :)
