Thought I would start this posting.
Just a quick pic of Nick, Damon and Rory going through the esses.
Great weekend of Alfa racing.

Would you trust this safety car crew?
Dodgey characters!!!
Yeah I'm sure they wouldn't even post in the introduce yourself section. Dodgy.
Any photos of Frank giving the 33 a hiding?
A few more pics.
Will have some youtube thingy posted when I get around to editing ie cutting out the spins.
Neil
A few more pics.
Footage of Alfetta GTV sitting back and chasing similar GTV and a GTV6
Here are a couple of snaps I took with my phone (so low-res). I also took some pics on my "proper" camera - I'll check those out tonight and upload any that are worthwhile.
<cough> Once again with correct orientation...
One more (I just like how the red looks in the morning light :) )...
Just out of curiosity, did anyone take photos of the parade lap after???? I would really like a photo of me and Alfie on track :)

Fabulous.

I think John Floyd would feel quite insulted.
Here is Damon chasing John.

Well, if it was a 33 presumably his times would look pretty heroic ;)
Neil, great photo of the three red Alfas in the esses.
Chris and tjb0274, thanks for posting the 33, looks good.

A handful more... good to see people finding the apex ;D
And last for now...
Mick is that your best time around short track.? Not shabby at all
Great photos Chris, can I have the HQ file of car 1, need to enlarge to see that it is me who is in car and not Damon.
That white ToyHonNissan car took a bit more of the corner!!!
Great vid of Chodeboy, you need to find someone to play with.
Neil
Also love the V6 sound.
Surely, there must be others who took photos and in car footage.
Come on, put them up.
It is all fun.
Not happy Mick u pipped my by 0.1 of second ::)
Choderboy,
What is the procedure for removing the limiter?
Foot harder on the accelerator and bigger gonads.
i reckon u should put the limiter back on ;D
Ha haa Neil. I like your thinking !
On a more mundane level, I think the 3 litre engines that are sourced from automatics are limited in the Motronic to 58oo but the manuals I am told go to 7200.
I believe its the same Motronic for both engines but a different pin out. I have tried a few variations without success so far hence my question.
Grouse vid Mick. Nice catch at 7:50.
Rev limited to 5800?, need to swap those first two numbers and make it 8500!
Oh I see, that's a whole different ball game.
I am by no means cetain about this so don't take me to task but I thought the L-jet set up had the limiter inside the distributor (rotor?) Something like removing a resistor attached to it?
Rumour has it that Neil's fast reaction times are linked to a special transplant operation he has had so that the communication between the gonads and the brain is much fster. He's gottem fitted under his left and right armpits..like I say, it's just a rumour. ;D ;D
The rev limiter inside the distributor is a simple spring thing that breaks the contact when revs rise. 5 minute job to remove - no pictures needed. If it's there you'll see it as soon as you take the cap off.
Mick
competition is good for everyone. Try this link and look under "mods" for rev limit (and fuel cut out)
Cheers, Eddy
