I don't have any video, but I took a few photos around the paddock.
...
A brilliant day today, the weather pretty much held out - plenty of runs despite a lot of recovery and nice long sessions. Awesome.
I see that the photographer from yesterday has uploaded his photos (for sale):

That orange one looks good ;)
Hey Evan - I wish I'd taken a picture of you munching on your Macca's on the way home!!
Alister
Does anyone know who was taking photos from the flag point gust after MG corner on Sunday. Would have been some great pics of some sideways action of cars accelerating out of the turn.
I'd love to see any shots of a silver Evo>
Cheers,
Chris

What can I say? Guilty as charged. Track days make me hungry.
It's always fun taking the Sud through the drive thru with the side exhaust. "What? A sundae? NO A CHEESEBURGER? WHAT?".

I was actually on the Inside of Honda Corner :)
I held up the IN board a few times too, but not when it was upside down lol,
but if you saw some crazy girl dancing with the IN board at the end of the last race that was me! 8)

Hi Aggie57,
I contacted Marisa, and she was actually on Honda Corner (but was a good contact as she also got lots of good shots; thanks).
Does anyone else have any idea who may have been the photographer at the flag-point at the corner immediately after MG (being turn 11)?
Cheers,
Chris

I believe it was the official Phillip Island Photographer. Some of his shots show he was there.

Hi folks, that would have been me (another Chris). I'm with the mx5 club and was flagging at MG all day.
(Damn that got cold at times!)
I've uploaded all my pics to a photobucket account.
http://s286.photobucket.com/albums/ll92/cshaks/
If you want a higher resolution copy, send me a pm and include the pic number.
The pic number will look like this "IMG_1234" and can be found by hovering your mouse pointer over the thumbnail in the gallery view. It is directly under the thumbnail pic.
Please be patient, it might take a little while to get emails through to those that want them, as my pc has died a terrible death and I am working on a crappy old laptop.
Well done to Neil and all the crew who once again organized a fantastic event!!
Cheers
Chris S.

Well done Chris,
You have some really awesome shots there!!! Great to see photos from another part of the track ;)
I know what you mean about the cold! i was freezing and my camera got wet :(
I can share your pain about the computer, mine is just about to die trying to load all my photos...
Marisa
Thanks Marisa,
Are you hosting your pics somewhere on line? I'd love to see them, as would the other mx5 guys.
I hope there's no damage to your camera from the rain!!!
I'm fairly sure that it took me at least an hour to thaw out in the car!

Hi Chris,
I am only posting a few photos on here for now because i am actually looking at getting my own website set up next year sometime, but if the mx5 club has a forum and they wouldn't mind me joining, i'd be more than happy to post up pics there from Phillip Island and also Sandown :)
Marisa
There's a reason they call that particular corner Siberia.
As a matter of interest, which direction was the wind coming from down there?
Ok as some of you may know, i was at Honda Corner on Sunday and lets just say i got a fair few photos of some spins and off road action of you guys!
So i'd like to start with one of my personal favourite cars #31 !!
Ladies and Gentleman presenting The Frank Musco 360°!
South West all day . Straight off Bass Strait
and more of the Frank Musco 360°!
and finally Frank staring at me...... :o

Marisa, that is a fantastic series of pics, sometimes you just happen to be pointing at the right spot at the right time!!!!! ;D
The national forum for mx5's is this, http://www.mx5cartalk.com/index.php and the thread regarding Sundays sprints is here http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=68&t=42712
I know the guys would love to see some of your pics from the weekend.
Also there were a few other mx5 guys taking pics as well, their photos will probably start to turn up in that thread as well.
Cheers
Chris
Wow!, grouse photos Marisa! Awesome timing with the spin. After it happened I remembered you were there, I'm surprised you didn't get one of me waving hello. Obviously I meant to do that, just in case you were getting bored. ;) Well done, especially in the cold and rain of the morning. My video wasn't working that run so I didn't get the spin on video, from the outside the car looks surprisingly good doing a 360. ;D
Thanks Frank.

Some nice footage there. I got some myself including my rainy excursion. however, still battling wind noise with my camera.
I've got some pictures from the weekend but they're big files. Is there an easy way to convert them into thumbnails so people can see what I've got?
Scott
Hi Scott.
My suggestion is to download and install Picasa (http://picasa.google.com). It's free software from Big G for cataloguing and manipulating your photos. When you start it up it'll find your collections of photos and allow you to export a set of files at any size. To upload to this site, I would export them at 800 wide (or tall if they are portrait).
It can also upload your photos to a web gallery if you tell it to - they would appear at picasaweb.google.com.
There are other programs out there but nothing as good for $0.
cheers,
Evan.
Scott, the program that I use is called PIXresizer. It is a free download, and a small program with some very good features. Very easy to use and quite intuitive. You set an input and output folder, specify a size, and let it go and do its thing. You can resize one at a time or get it to do a whole folder at a time
It processed about 350 3Mb images for me in about 10 minutes the other night.
. Once I have resized mine I then upload to photobucket or similar.
Cheers
Chris
Here are a couple while I set up a photobucket account, or similar. I have a imageshack account but I don't think much of it. What do people reccommend?
Scott
And a few more:
Scott, Great photo of my Sprint following Sheldon, and love the fire breathing Skyline!
Thanks for posting.

I believe this would be Dna Dave?
Bidese and Pignataro
Nice photos,
Is that cos it takes out a lot of vegetation (you know....coming off the track......nevermind...)
Finally it's done! If you'd like a full picture, let me know.
