Post by: 85sprint on July 02, 2007, 09:09:50 PM
rebuilding a 85mod sprint with a 1.5L dual carb engine ans some cancer,

first on the list is to get a key, as original was lost, but i have the number so this may still be possible, otherwise locksmith....

then cut out rust and start rubbing back for respray....

how much do i have to rub back the paint to get a good finnish???

bit of an update, havent been on here much lately,
got the old girl started, was running on 2 cylinders for a bit till i realised two plug leads had been mixed up.
this put the firing order out.
i switched these and she roared into life.... gotta love it...

i am chasing a drivers side gaurd at the moment if anyone has one, tried monza motors in baysie,
but they didnt have any....

cheers batesy
