40 odd bodies, 25 or so cars.  Very good turn out, lots of the older cars came out to play which was terrific.
Great drive in ever diminshing crcles around the Dandenongs culminating with a terrific lunch that 36 members attended.

I got to add over 200k's of running in to my new motor (rings, bearings etc).

Rob took some pics so watch out for the review in the next mag.

Phil you missed a good run.
We ran up through Berwick to Gembrooke to Warburton Highway and up along the Dandenong tourist rd to Sherbrooke.
There was about 40 people in 25 cars, several new Alfisti and a few cars we havn't seen before. 38 in all that stayed for lunch at Marybrooke.
I think the food worked out good value at $20
Several members indicated that they would like to do it again sometime.
See you at Sandown, cheers Gary Pearce :)

How about Tuscany in the northern spring?
Hey racers Ed & Phil, should I be purchasing one of those 3 inch 6 point harnesses advertised above? G.P.

I saw that ad too Gary, but I must admit I have not heard of this guy before, and as it is a critical safety component I would prefer to pay a little extra and buy through someone I know (like Meridien, Revolution, GMP etc).  Peace of mind is worth more than a small $ saving.

Bruno can help with Autotechnica/Monza brand which are good quality and cheap. As Phil says - Revo, Meridian and Malvern can help with RPM/MQ/Willans type brands.
Autotechnica/Monza approx $200 (which i have) and ERG brand are on the cheaper side, Willans, Schroth, Sabelt and Sparco tend to be more $.

So if you want blue ones, ( i want another black set) the price and expiry date offered on the forum is good value.

just be sure to check that all labels are on all pieces of harness, that the year shown is well forward from now as that is the FIA validity expiry date.  Also check the compliance number is NOT - FIA D-203.T/98.  Any harness with this FIA compliance number is invalid and has a safety recall on it!.

Phil ,I've got the autotechnica ones in my car that I bought through bruno and I rekon they are a great belt, they are very light and although the price doesn't suggest it the quality is very good.  I was quoted nearly $500 more to get something similar through revoultion, i've used those belts in the past and i can't see we're the extra money goes!

Thanks Colin and Ed. You've been a great help.
I will be at Sandown on Sunday so I will have a look at what you are talking about then. Looks like rain?
