Title: Alfa Romeo 155 wanted
Post by: VeeSix on October 28, 2010, 05:04:49 AM
My Alfa Romeo collection is just about complete but i have always wanted a 155 to play with, does anyone have or know someone who has one available for sale here in Australia?
Condition is not really important
I know there are a few here in Australia, i almost bought a red one a few years back but when i went back to look at it it had already been sold  :D

Hello John, yes my collection started getting so big that i had to think which engine is my true love and stick with that and the V6 won, i had to sell all my boxers and straight fours, spare parts just end up taking up too much room, i like to just go to my shelf and get a spare part when needed, i love the 80's models generally so have stuck with them GTV6, 90, 75 and 164s, all those V6 Alfa Romeos i could never afford when i was young now available at my disposal, NSW has just not long introduced 6 month registrations so it is now more affordable than ever to keep a fleet on the road, everytime i try to upload personal pictures it saids my file is too large and will not upload, i will see what i can do, might try another camera!  8)

Did you end up finding that 75 boot spoiler? :)

Hello Spoynter, no not yet, i will keep looking around, one is sure to come up on e-bay or some Alfa Romeo site eventually, i guess it is just a matter of when, but i am just having fun drivring the 75 project around now everyday that it is pretty much finished, nothing like the 2.5 V6 revving hard, sounds great even just with a standard exhaust, my only problem left with it besides finding a boot spoiler is the 3 minutes of cranking to get it started when it is dead cold as the COLD START INJECTOR is not firing for some reason, i will keep trying to work it out everyday when i get a chance, i hope some thinker on this site comes up with something, must be a reason the ECU is not sending out the command!  ::)

Hello Spoynter
Do you have a 75 top boot spoiler?  :)
If so can you provide a picture of it?
What do you mean via you will throw in the vehicle as well?
Do you have a old 75 you want to get rid of?  ???
