Title: News Group S Car
Post by: NigelC on January 30, 2010, 03:25:45 PM
New Group S (allocated No 79 by GSRA), Ready for scrutineering for the logbook application on Tuesday.

Any hints of what the scrutineers might focus on?

Have also posted car in its original guise, picture taken 12 months ago.

looks great Nigel, did you have the whole car painted?  Is the stripe a DIY job?

The spoilers look like they are mounted a bit high, going by the fit up on the wheel arch
Regards

The car was stripped right down, any rust was removed (there was remarkably little),the car was re-sprayed and the stripes were painted by GHL Autobody refinishers in Yass.  I think the splitters looking a little high is due partly to the fact that I did a lousy job putting on the left hand one - the right side one fits well.

They are mounted on the same level as the original ones.
