I was under the impression that my 09 Brera was iPOD compatible, but when attempting to connect my iPOD I get an error. It plays MP3's off the memory stick, as expected.
Is there something I need to do? javascript:void(0); ???
I just took delivery of a new 159 (manuf 09) and the bluetooth worked perfectly with my iphone; have not yet tried the non-phone functions on my iphone but according the book it should work.
Blue&Me = Windows based. iPod = Apple based. The two aren't compatiable!
What we did was to get our music into MP3 format onto an USB key...which works fine.
Or, you can try reformating the music in the iPod from its default AAC format to MP3 format. Bit more fiddly but I think it works.
Victor is spot on.
However, if you really want to use your iPod with Blue&Me, all is not lost.

I was under the impression that Blue & me requires MP3, but itunes now defaults to MP4. I thought that what was required was to convert back to MP3, then organise music into folders in a specific way. But I haven't really read the instructions.

You should also change your import settings in I tunes on your computer so that when you put a cd into your machine it will import it as an mp3, saves on messy conversions and doubling up with mp3 copies of mp4s. I still haven't worked out how to do this when buying direct from I tunes, maybe I'll have to ask a young'un or at least somebody slightly less of a luddite than myself

When i buy from itunes shop I use itunes software to burn a normal audio cd and then reimport them from it. They then come in as mp3 and can be backed up from there.
