Title: 105 Owner
Post by: ACP on October 02, 2009, 07:02:13 PM
Finally....

This week a little red car arrived! 1967 Sprint Gt Veloce, 1600.

It was promised in May....

It did 10x more miles on a trailer than it has done in the last 10 years on the trip from QLD to NSW.

I need to get some wheels for it, and see how much right leg is required to stop it without the brake booster.

So if you see a little red 105 driving around over the weekend in Sydney with QLD plates on it......
don't stop quickly!

:-)

Please ignore the wheels...

I have pottered around Sydney in it, the brakes aren't too bad.  It goes alright when it's running on all four, which hopefully it will for a while more after cleaning out a blocked idle jet for number 1.

Cheers,

Welcome to the board!

Love the step-noses.  What are your plans for the car once the obvious wheel/brake issues are sorted?

Hopefully the little one will be for the occasional sprint and club day.

Let's see how we go.  Thus the wheels aren't too much of a problem at the moment, as functionally they are AOK, they just don't suit the car.

The brakes... I just have to push a little harder.  At least it's not 2 tonnes of 4wd.

Cheers,
