Title: Replacing 3.2 JTS Rocker arms and Hydraulic lifters.
Post by: Ascari32 on October 19, 2023, 11:27:52 PM
Hi,

Still hoping for information  on engineering services for replacing the lower timing chain with gears. However, can anyone tell me if any tool(s) exist for swapping - out the rocker arms and hydraulic lifters on the Alfa/Holden 3.2 engine as fitted to my Q4. I have seen a YouTube video, but it was on a V8, the make of which I can't remember.

Just looking at pictures of the engine, remove the camshafts and lift the rockers and lifters out.
Typically that sort of setup has a small clip that hold the rocker and lifter together.
