Hey Biggus, you bored? or just trying to lift your number of posts to get out of being a junior member? surely one post would have done ;)
Hey Brad, um one could suggest perhaps the same for you in trying perhaps to obtain senior membership !! ha ha. Perhaps I should only post this once otherwise I too might be accused of being hypocritical. Dave
Yeah Biggus.
Thanks for pointing that out David.
This one counts, right??
Thanks Marco. Try the Link below which gives you all models, just select the model.

Oh dear, all the reviews give the Alfa's the thumbs down. It's sad day when the 159 wagon (as great this car is in it's class) gets the best review even over the premium hero cars; Brerra and GT. All cars are re-soundly criticised for their handling, quality and lardiness particuarly the lard arse and lazy GM six.
Bring back the rear drivers and the good old Italian six please please Alfa!

Do you want to buy a 90? All the rear-drive and V6 goodness you could ever want!
Yes, my 159 V6 is an absolute porker. I still love it.
The AWD is actually pretty good but I would be just as happy with FWD or RWD in my 159. Its all about the feeling you get from an Alfa.
It even has a touch of that classic Alfa heritage. When I get out of the car after a drive, I smell fuel.
Take that BMW and Audi drivers. I bet your cars don't smell of potential, unexpected combustion.
Pussies.
The sweet smell of an Alfa, oh yeah.
David, Cheers for exposing my intent ;)
Well I like the looks of the 159 both in sedan and especially the sportwagon version, but hey I have a 156 sportwagon so perhaps I am a little biased. Neither the GT nor the Brera quite do it for me. If anything I reckon the previous GTV6 ('98 onwards) was possibly more of a sportscar, akin to our beloved 105s, albeit FWD. Having driven both a GTV and GTV6 I had that feeling of wearing the car similar to when I drive my 1750 GTV. Now if it had come in AWD I reckon it would have been even better.
Yes sorry Brad, like you I to am aiming for the stars. Between here on this forum and the BB I am well on the way. Dave
Marco, I hope like mine, it's your 1750GT you smell petrol from and not the injected 159? My point about current Alfa's is that it would be great to see Alfa return to rear wheel drive and add some more substance to an already good product, to their great styling, particularly for their premium end.

Its the 159 which smells of petrol but not with the same eye-buring intensiy of my 105. Its more 'perfurme' as opposed to, 'everyone get away from the car!!!'
Have to agree there, with a 105 you wear the smell or at least I did, used to drive it to work on Fridays and in the Friday morning meeting all I could smell was fuel, exhaust fumes and god knows what else on me , the deoderant and aftershave was gone. Admittedly I fixed the boot seal and its not as bad now but you still smell it. Nice that the 159 gives you a hint of that. You gotta love it though at least it smells/feels like your driving a real car not some pompose arsed poser mobile driven by accountants........... ;D
Brad - nice job in bumping up your posts !
Cheers Pep ;)
