Title: 75TS slave flex hose removal
Post by: jjperko on November 18, 2022, 06:28:13 PM
Hi All,

Got my 75 back from a brake and clutch fluid flush today and supplied the mechanic (not a specialist) with a new flexible hose to the slave cylinder to try fitting as its suffering from a slightly slow pedal return.

Was informed the whole transaxle would need removing to replace the hose. Doing a bit of research and looking underneath it seems like I can in fact remove the slave cylinder rearwards past the clutch fork and replace the hose without major dissasembly? Checking if this is in fact possible and any special tools or tricks to make it easier? Or a mechanic in NE Vic who knows their way around Alfas?

Thanks,
James
