Title: Updated Australia Maps?
Post by: Lee on August 28, 2022, 12:41:13 PM
Hi everyone,

I'm the proud owner of a new (MY21, 2022 Compliance) Guilia with 220km on the clock and I'm in love. However, I have a question about the maps.

According to the car, the maps haven't been updated since 2018 - does anyone know if there are more up to date maps available? Surely there's been an update in the past four years?! The dealer mentioned that there were free updates for three years.

There's been some significant changes to major roads in Perth in the past four years, so I'm very keen to get my hands on them. I have no interest in using Apple CarPlay etc.

Thanks in advance,
Lee

I was in for a service visit last week at an authorised service centre and was told by the idiot advisor that I'd have to pay for map updates. Of course he had NFI (about anything for that matter) and then proceeded to be condescending, patronising and dismissive. Thankfully warranty is over very soon.  ::)

Doubtful . . . . .  ::)

But I'd love to be wrong.  :)
