Title: When will things return to normal?
Post by: As the day goes on May 17, 2020, 07:25:53 AM
So car trips are still not allowed but if you do some exercise at the end of your trip that is fine.  ;)

Seriously, with many events cancelled until September, I think once museums and cafes reopen, this will be the time to reactivate the calendar.

Depends where you live. Car trips have never been banned in WA, just non-essential trips outside your home region. I was able to take the GTV out for a battery recharge every weekend, as long as I stayed within the metro area.

We are now encouraged to travel for recreational purposes within expanded internal regions to help regional business get back up on its feet. Being resident in Perth, I can now travel as far north as Jurien Bay or as far south as Albany, and as far east as Southern Cross.

You just forget how big WA is. That trip would be very similar to a lap of England. Ought to be enough for most enthusiasts
