Hey All,
Apologies if asked or covered before but I’m researching these cars, really interested in buying one but am seeing the 1.7 turbo & a 1.8 turbo, I can’t find any reviews or articles on the 1.8?
Are the 1.8’s only on the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde, is the QV model with the 1.7 a class down? any differences apart from only a few kw’s?
I’m a manual driver at hear but reading the TCT might be better?
Any help would be appreciated - thank you!
There are two versions of the same 1750tbi in the Giulietta.
1st version are manual only, have an iron block and noisey high pressure fuel pump
2nd version is TCT only, has Al block and the same noisey pump (like the 4c) and a poofteenth extra horses/nm that you will never notice/explore
Bang for buck is all in the man maths.
(I'd prefer the TCT, but I'm buggered if I'm paying double for it.. early GQV's are bargain basement $hizzle)
Your mileage may vary
Call a Dr if symptoms persist
Buy the best presented/serviced/optioned version you can afford (to piss away, it's a liability, not an investment) - mileage is not an issue (In my opinion)
Further to Craig's summation, find below links to reviews on the two model Giulietta QV's available in AUS

Thank you both & Craig for the laugh!
All makes sense now, I can live with a noisey high pressure fuel pump if the car is otherwise a fun / rewarding experience.
Cheers,
Matt
