Title: Fuel Tank Capacity & Gauge - 1977 Alfetta Sedan

Hello Alfisti,

I have been reluctant to run my fuel gauge to empty for fear of running out of fuel.  I have read that the fuel tank capacity is 49L.  When reading empty, the tank fills after I add ~ 25L of fuel.  Can my fuel gauge be that far out?  Can my fuel gauge be smaller or be dented or something?

I'd greatly appreciate any feedback.
