Title: Local source for front wheel bearing seal
Post by: GTVeloce on September 23, 2019, 04:48:12 PM
I bought and have installed a front wheel bearing kit however, the seal doesn't fit. Does anyone know where I can source a set of seals in S-E Melbourne? I tried Benincas but they didn't have any. Does anyone know the correct size?

This is for a 75 TS hub.

Hi GTVeloce
Is there any markings on the seal?. If so, try and procure an equivalent from your local bearing suppliers. I have attached an extract of the standard Seal numbering system for reference purposes.

Thanks bonno, that looks very useful. Unfortunately I disposed of the old seals some time ago so don't have any to compare to. I am about to disassemble a working hub so should be able to look then. Was hoping to have everything in place beforehand to minimise downtime of the car.

Easy one, have plenty at work, you can collect Monday if you like.

I'll send you a PM.
