Title: Sports Sedan GTV
Post by: Duk on August 11, 2019, 03:46:04 PM
Pinched from the Sports Sedans page on Bookfarce.
Not to many Alfa transaxles under there.
Use a pushrod bend 8, probably of Chevrolet origins.

Pretty sure that's Tony Ricciardello's  Alfa Chev sports sedan from WA. Built about 25 years ago and still very competitive in Sports Sedans.

Geez I wouldn't fancy sitting that close to the block. Or the headers. Reckon it might get a little warm...

The livery in that first pic makes it the Tony Edmondson car.   He won the Australian Sports Sedan Championship in 1980 & '81 after a very bad crash/injuries in 1979.
Tony Ricciardello wasn't born until '79....  :D  He won in '98, '99, '01, '02, plus a bazzillion more since the series name change from 2004.
The other, often forgotten 'Alfetta' championship win was Brian Smith in 1994 (was this Edmondson's chassis??).

Thanks for bringing up the subject!!!!!   :)
