Title: disconnecting the clutch slave cylinder
Post by: cc on April 26, 2019, 06:09:15 PM
Hi
Have almost disconnected everything from the engine. Just the clutch slave cylinder to go.
I dont want to unscrew the line and make a mess  and have to add fluid later. But would like to keep the cylinder connected to its pipe and disconnect it at the lever. See pointing finger in pic. It doesnt easily slip off tho after taking the circlip out.. Suggestions?.... Also a pic of the engine on the ground.

The Slave Cylinder is not connected to the lever, but just pushes up against it.

Put the circlip back on and just unmount the slave cylinder from its mounting on the gear box.
