Title: Alfa 147 hand brake cable bracket
Post by: Campbeli on February 04, 2019, 06:32:34 AM
Hi all,
I purchased a 2004 147 ts and have noticed that the bracket which  supports the hand brake cable (left and right hand side) adjacent the rear wheel has a rubber connector that has broken.
The PO's mechanic has used cable ties instead, but they tend to jump off the bracket.

I see that the part comes with a complete spare hand brake cable, but I wonder if it can be purchased separately.

Thanks
Neil

Not too many cars left where that rubber link is still in service. I've opted to use heavyweight cable ties, none of mine have slipped off yet.
