Title: Where is it now? - 1980 Alfetta GTV
Post by: Alfetta77 on June 22, 2018, 07:59:07 PM
Hi, hoping to track down a car I owned in the late nineties, purchased in South Australia, sold to Scott Farquharson in Victoria in the early 2000's, then on-sold by Scott, possibly having been converted to a group S race car. At the time it was quite original apart from aftermarket wheels, red, with the stainless steel bumpers, a really good interior, and the usual rust spots starting to appear. Any assistance greatly appreciated.

I believe you can do a revs check and it will tell you the owners
someone mentioned it today
I hope that number plate will work?

It became my Group S car and was sold to Colin Connaughton in Sydney over 10 years ago.  It has run in just about every Group S event over that period.

That's brilliant, thanks so much Scott for tracking it down. Great to see it has been put to good use, sounds like it has had quite a competition history over the past few years!
