This is a warning to folk who may be tempted to pay for and download a workshop manual from emanualsonline.com. I got caught with the ALFA 147 manual which they advertised as being in PDF format. It was actually in some strange virtual machine format that required it to run on a program that emulated the old windows XP. The whole thing had to be viewed through a tiny window on the screen - and with zero functionality. The support is a joke - you talk to imbeciles who either don't read, don't understand or who are just rat cunning and try to sidetrack you and baffle you with BS. Writing to them is a waste of time. Really p'd off.
Couldn't get a .iso download and use Dæmon Tools Lite (freeware)?
Still non functional - cannot print
I just tested my eLearn and it prints the pages fine, not the LHS menu though.
Yep - the e-manual will print. No problem with that. But the manuals supplied by the emanuals online company are a different format - "Virtual Machine Files" Avoid these and this company like Dracula avoids the crucifix
Are you sorted now with a 147 manual or still searching?
All good. I downloaded the e-learn manual which is the original service manual. I am still a bit raw about the other mob who splash PDF over everything they sell in order to suck people in. Thank you for your concern. It is most appreciated.
Same thing happened to me, took me 2 days to figure out how to open, the workshop manual was unusable.
