Not sure if things have changed, but I went through this exercise recently and found that the OEM or equivalent material is NLA and ended up recovering the seats and door cards in tan leather. Find attached link to the post for information, together with photo of final product.

An Israeli guy bought both remaining rolls of pinstripe velour from the old Italians in Turin that made the stuff for the factory.
Both are sold- I know, because i bought the last of the tan pin stripe off him
