Going to be an exciting and challenging 12 hr event to test all out.

Absolutely full now, well oversubscribed.
Very loyal band of racers and teams. Happy with that.
Congratulations Neil.
Great news! Further confirmation grass roots motorsport is alive and well. Also confirms club motorsport recognizes AROCA's ability to organize and run challenging events. Well done to all concerned and thanks to those who have committed!
Just a shout out to any Alfa Racer out there who wants to join a 12 hr team, you can get in touch with me or the organizing group. I can possibly put you in a team.

Just finished printing all the doco for this event. Looking at it confirms what a huge effort Neil has put into this. Its a significant logistic challenge, however the team supporting Neil has done a great job. Now with event windscreen banners being produced and huge support from FCA, I'm so proud and privileged to be involved!
Well Done AROCA Vic!
Colin

Am I good or what!!! What can I say?
I heard that you can turn water into petrol and return Alfa electrical systems back from the dead ;D
Actually, I got the last part wrong no one can bring Alfa electrical systems back from the dead!
Yep. Race Secretary has organised the weather well. All the rain was delivered last weekend to that obscure warm up event in western N.S.W.
Now the preliminaries are out of the way let the Main Event begin!
The Inaugural Alfa 12 hr was a tremendous success.
What a wonderful weekend and working with a great bunch of Alfisti's. The competition was fierce with some great driving and camaraderie.
Massive field of 40 teams and over 200 cars and drivers.
100% Satisfaction and everyone had a ball.
The sponsors to thank are:
Alfa Romeo Australia, Fiat Chrysler Automobile
Zagame Alfa Romeo

And of course, all the event volunteers provided by the teams.
And all the volunteer scrutineers who helped on Friday and Saturday.

I am extremely thankful to this dedicated group of Alfisti who have all worked together, for the last 12 years and especially so the last 12 months to create this year's event.
The fact that each and everyone of the team knows exactly what to do, how to do it and when do the job.
To you all, I thank you personally.
Until next year.
Well done to Neil and all the team involved in making this amazing event happen.
Already preparing for next year. Bring on the 24 hour!
