Title: 164qv fan wirning
Post by: ARQ164 Shane on May 14, 2017, 08:34:13 PM
Hi guys,
My fan has stop working, the PINK switch wire is not turning on the fan, any ideas? I have checked the the 30A relay and the thormo switch
but there must be another fuse or relay.

Cheers

Hey mate,

Have you checked the relay under the little black box on the passenger side front of the engine bay? I can't remember which one it is exactly.

I have attached a pic and circled it in blue. Just lift up the cover and it will expose 2 or 3 relays.
One relay is for the horn, the other is for the thermo fan. And depending on the car, there may be another relay.

Andrew.

So the pink wire go's to a Red wire in a 4 pin black plug that go's to a double relay under the P/Side dash
I had a spare so cars seem to be fixed
