Title: Just joined
Post by: Lestere on July 21, 2016, 09:11:06 PM
Hi all, just started a restoration of a 1979 Alfetta GTV 2.0. New to Alfa's so should be fun. Can anyone recommend best places for parts in Melbourne Vic.

Likewise, I've just bought a 1971 105 gtv and would love to know what and who is around Melbourne Vic.

Hi Lestere, welcome to the forum.

I've got a 1980 Alfetta GTV 2.0L, they're a great car. I've just sourced a quantity of parts from EB Spares in the UK. They've got a great range, the prices are reasonable and the delivery is quick. http://www.ebspares.co.uk/

I'm not sure what is available in Melbourne but there didn't seem to be a lot around, maybe you need to know where to look. ;)

For spare parts for Alfetta's in Melbourne try Milano Spares in Thomastown, ask for Marc, also try Monza Motors Malvern street in Bayswater, Colin.

Hi Lestere, and welcome to the gang. I've got a 81 GTV. Don't you love the way they bark?

cough cough...

Italian Automotive Spares......they got a huge range of parts for alfetta's....including the tailshaft couplings that most people assume are hard to get.

Dom, anyone ever tell you you're as subtle as a brick wrapped in lemon? ;)

Hey Dom, why doesn't that girl in the photo, work behind the counter at Italian Automotive Spares in Brunswick?, much easier on the eye than the bloke that serves me, Colin.

Hey Col,

If the girl in the photo was working behind the counter i don't think much work would get done! But it is something we're working on  ;)
