woo hooo well the diesel is anyway
the salesman lied (strange) the quad doesnt get there for another month
have too say I wasnt allowed to go over 160km/h as it was a new car
we got too 167 before i braked plenty more in it (love autostrada)
well put together and I can honestly say I WANT ONE
cant imagine what the quad is like this handled like it was a track car
underneath was almost as beautiful with wind deflectors/collectors
spoilers and panning it looks fast and it is
love the feel the interior has that Alfa flair you can feel a little maserati in  it
the Quad should be awesome and I believe the figure for the quad in OZ will be around $120,000
as it is 85K euros  in europe
everyone is talking alfa over here not BMW or AUDI the salesman(ye the one that lied to me about the quad drive )
said that stolen over 20%of the bmw and audi sales just with this model

Based on the Italy / Germany price factoring in GST/ LCT, the Quadrifoglio should sell for around AUD125,000 plus freight.

Interesting that the 0-100kph times for the likely biggest selling models (ie lower and mid spec) have remained pretty similar since the V6 156 appeared in the late 90s.

Must be the view that 7.0 - 7.5s is more than most customers would want.

well really thats all they need and the new 2.2tdi is 2 secs quicker to 100kmh and uses half the fuel\

and the only 156 quicker than this diesel was the gta which was 0.8 secs quicker and 20kmh faster
the quad they say will be 3.9secs a full 2.5 secs quicker than the GTA limited to 250kmh in australia
europe will be 320kmh

What are the specified times like for the non-QV petrol models?

If I am ever lucky enough to be in a position to get one (after a couple of years of Alfa depreciation has done its work!) I would only be interested in a petrol version.

Petrol just coming out
2.0ltr        147kw  o-100 6.5s
2.0ltr turbo 206kw 0-100 5.5s
3.0 ltr twin turbo  375kw 0-100 3.9
you know after seeing this maybe the  2.0 is enough with 280 hp

Now that is an impressive set of numbers. Yep, a simple 2.0L would be just fine!
